OPTIMARE Systems exhibited at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru, showcasing the MEDUSA® mission management suite and the OctoPod sensor pod to Indian Navy and Coast Guard representatives.
OPTIMARE Systems GmbH participated in Aero India 2025, held at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru from 10–14 February 2025. The biennial exhibition is Asia's largest aerospace and defence show and a key engagement point for the Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, and defence procurement community.
At the OPTIMARE stand, visitors were able to explore the MEDUSA® mission management suite in a live demonstration configuration, including the operator console, sensor control interface, and real-time geo-referenced display. The OctoPod belly-mounted sensor pod — jointly developed with AERODATA AG — was also presented, highlighting its single-STC installation concept and multi-sensor integration capability.
The India team engaged with representatives from the Indian Navy's maritime patrol aircraft programme, the Indian Coast Guard's Dornier 228 fleet operators, and several defence procurement officials. Discussions covered sensor upgrade paths, MEDUSA® integration with existing platforms, and the SpillWatch!® marine product range.
OPTIMARE's participation at Aero India 2025 reflects the company's commitment to the Indian maritime surveillance market and its long-term engagement with Indian defence and coastguard operators. The India office in Bengaluru provides local support for all OPTIMARE systems deployed in the region.
