OPTIMARE attended IDEX 2024 in Abu Dhabi, engaging with Middle Eastern and South Asian defence procurement teams on maritime surveillance requirements.
OPTIMARE Systems GmbH attended the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) 2024 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from 22–26 January 2024. IDEX is one of the world's largest defence exhibitions and a key engagement point for Middle Eastern and South Asian defence procurement.
At IDEX 2024, OPTIMARE engaged with defence procurement officials and coastguard representatives from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and several South Asian nations. Discussions covered airborne maritime surveillance requirements, MEDUSA® mission management capabilities, and the SpillWatch!® marine product range for offshore oil and gas applications.
The exhibition provided an opportunity to present OPTIMARE's full product portfolio — from the SLAR X-band radar and IR/UV line scanner through to the OctoPod multi-sensor pod and the OPTIMARE Precision Salinometer — to a broad audience of potential operators and procurement decision-makers.
OPTIMARE's participation at IDEX 2024 is part of the company's ongoing engagement with the Middle Eastern and South Asian maritime surveillance market, complementing the India office's activities in the region.
